1. Another great show, from what I heard about the Gold from lead part of alchemy , they are next to either on periodic table Pb lead is 46, and AG is 47 there weight is surprisingly close. So ancient chemist suspected that you could find a catalyst to change base lead into valuable gold. Arthur C. Clarke besides being a writer was a scientist he designed the first communication satellite Echo 1 I believe it was called. Fusion changes elements the fusion in our sun combines 2 hydrogen atoms into one helium atom with a tremendous release of energy, so if once figuring out fusion, you used lead and helium , your nuclear waste would be gold, a nice summer project for you three.
